Exploring Thai Distant Learning Using Satellite TV (eDLTV) and Problem-Based Learning

To solve the problems of teacher shortage and their indirect educational qualifications in underprivileged rural schools, Government Thailand has issued policy to use eDLTV media (Electronic Distance Learning TV Media) its pedagogical system. Rajabhat Maha Sarakham University is assigned as one institutions promote application such Northeast country. Assigned by university, support mission, researcher conducted this study with following objectives: 1) develop a model participatory technology transfer learning at Phrapariyattidhamma Schools (PDS) using Project-Based (PBL) activities; 2) results experiments model’s manuals tools; 3) examine acceptance for PDS. The samples were 99 teachers 956 students study, purposively selected from 1,435 9 PDS Sisaket Province. instruments used three questionnaires on transfer. research showed that form collaboration 3 important agencies: RMU, PDS, NSTDA (National Science Technology Development Agency) they together define roles, duties, activities phases. overall teachers' opinions towards experiment most suability use. significance relies upon after training, 100 % able apply PBL various subjects even though had no experience before.
